Heat Pump Rebate

A heat pump can save 35-45% on your annual heating costs!

$200 rebate – paid as a bill credit to the member

     The high-efficiency heap pump can be added onto your present fossil fuel furnace.

     Only during the very coldest times of the year will your existing furnace need to “kick in.”  You will gain top-efficiency form both units plus the comfort of central air in summer months.

$200 rebate – paid as a bill credit to the member

     The high-efficiency air-source heat pump will provide excellent heating results as well as the comfort of central air during the summer.

$250 rebate – paid as a bill credit to the member.

     Geothermal heat pumps may be a little more expensive to install, but they are the most efficient to operate and have the highest consumer satisfaction rating of all heat sources as well as air conditioning options.

To receive a rebate:

Consumers must contact the REMC before installation or within 6 months of the heat pump installation.

We will register the consumer for the program and make arrangements to inspect the system and award the rebate after installation is complete.

You must be an REMC member to participate.

Heat pump must be 14 SEER or higher to qualify for the incentive

All rebates are subject to change without prior notice.

Members may qualify for a Power Moves rebate.  Visit www.powermoves.com.  Members are eligible for one rebate per unit either Power Moves or Jay County REMC HVAC rebate, cannot receive both rebates.
