Even though our annual meeting may be over for the year, that does not mean we don't have some exciting things on the horizon!
Here are some things you can look forward to that we are working on, or will be doing this year:
This is an amazing program that allows members to "round up" their monthly utility bill to the nearest dollar to assist the elderly, handicapped, and other needy individuals and families. We are working to implement this program and hope to have it up and running later this year. This would be a voluntary program that any member could participate in if they wanted to.
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
This is a book gifting program that allows children of the community to sign up to receive a free book each month from the ages of birth to 5 years old. We are working with community and cooperative partners in order to implement this program.
